Default Hello

Hello

What a great forum

Well, I'm not sure if this is the right place to introduce myself - I have had a look but it's more than likely I've missed the corret place - it is Friday afternoon after all . (love these emoticons!)

Right, I have just re-registered as a childminder after a 4 year break. I currently have my own 3 "angels", I have a 2year old and have just taken on two afterschoolers! So a great start to returning to the profession!

By how things have changed in the 4 years. I am currently working towards my DCP, just had my first unit assessment (today) for the NVQL3 and am doing Quality First. I'm loving it!

I am in the Darlington area. From when I have been lurking I can see a few minders from Darlington.....

My own personal hobbies (when I have time) is watching my kids race atvs, cycling, reading, swimming, and family history. I LOVE a good night out round town.

Hi & Welcome to Silkysteps.

Anywheres a good place to post in here lol

Sounds like you have full agenda, did you make your way back into minding without too many hassels?

There do seem to be quite a few of us from the Darlington area .. coincidental and nice

Enjoy everything here & look forward to chatting ..
