Hi welcome to the site. It reads nicely :)
The EYFS aim isn't to achieve the outcomes of ECM though xx
You can use the ECM outcomes and match them to your practice. Doing that will enable you to explain your rationale & show/demonstrate the reasoning that underpins everything you do ie. you want children in your care to stay safe, be healthy, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-being.
The Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 is a developmental and a learning framework. It has three sections, and each setting will put those sections into practice in its very own way.
Ensuring a setting's practice meets the regulations contained in the EYFS framework is work undertaken by OFSTED who use inspection criteria to evidence a setting's compliance.

You'll need to explain how your setting uses the
EYFS and any materials issued by the
government nationally eg.
EY outcomes /
progress check guidance and locally if your local authority council provide you with anything eg. do they recommend development matters or their own developmental formats, do they want you to develop a British values policy -
linking eyfs to British values? ..
