To get you started, do you have access to a learner handbook - titles on
amazon.co.uk it'll help guide your research. Ask your placement or setting if you can have a copies of their policies and procedures to read through, a copy of the prospectus and welcome book and your job contract - what your role is in the setting, the duties and responsibilities that you have. All these will enable you to familiarise yourself with the setting's practice, its aim and expectations.
