Default How is development influenced by a range of personal factors?

Personal and External factors which effect development?

Are personal facors things such as Health, family, friends etc and external things such as the environment which children grow up in?

the question is;
Explain how children and young people’s development is influenced by a range of personal factors.
Thanks!

Yes Amy you are on the right track.

CYP 3.1 child development - find unit help here

2.1. Personal factors including:
• health status
• disability
• sensory impairment
• learning difficulties

2.2. External factors including:
• Poverty and deprivation
• Family environment and background
• Personal choices
• Looked after/ care status
• Education

Also factors that are within the Child's home life such as marriage breakdown, death of family member, transitions like moving home etc etc..! Hope this helps.
