Opportunities I can provide for children to have regular social interaction with both adults and other children and why this is important to their development? Any help would be much appreciated

Circle time springs to mind because it involves both children and adults. It is important for social skills, taking turns, self esteem, feeling part of a group, developing positive relationships, listening to other people, respecting other people, learning new information, improving their vocabulary, sets them challenges eg talking in front of a group, helps children to feel valued, helps children to make a contribution etc etc
