Hi, this is the last bit of work I have to do but... not sure what it means. The knowledge specification is titled "How to promote children's development from 7-12 years, how and why". No 11 says "support information handling". Is it referring to information the child tells me and what I then do with it? Just a bit confused. Thanks.

hi wendy im just on the same point as you, information handling would be like problem solving in maths -(more school learning like how to count etc). Refer to curricullum and problem solving maybe give an example - eg encouraging children to count out cups which need to be handed to the table, board games, playing darts (or simmalar games) these are the examples i used i found it quite hard as i work in an after school club so needed to think of everyday maths if that makes any sense
good luck
