I can fully appreciate what you are saying.I am in my 3rd year and was told i would have this complete in a year.I am finding the whole thing a nightmare and find it frustrating when i tell my assessor how i feel and get the reply"you can do it".Many a time i have wanted to give it up,but know in my heart that working with children is what i want to do so know i have to finish it.
Keep at it and remember you have the right to get help and support from your assessor.
Hope this helps.
