Hi I'm also doing this unit at the moment and finding it quite difficult. For 402.2 I've been adviced to write a reflective account on how I ensure all staff students etc are aware of safe working practices eg having crb checks staff ratios etc through induction training and meetings.For402.3 I've got to try and get some input into the policies.Hope this is of any help. I'm trying to find info about whistleblowing if anybody can help me

try acas website - under employment law you cannot be disciplined for whistleblowing! I guess this is quite relevant to us, as we may be in a position whereby we need to notify ofsted if practises aren't up to standard, but fear loosing our job - we are protected under employment law - hope this helps

this is more about what you actually do. how do you make sure the procedures are implemented , how do you check they re working, how do you review them and how do you ensure the staff integrate the challenges of the procedures in to the daily practice.
