Diversity
the difference between individuals and groups in society arising from gender, ethnic origins, social, cultural or religious background, family structure, disabilities, sexuality and appearance.
Equality of opportunity
in individual in society experiences opportunities to achieve and flourish which are as good as the opportunities experienced by other people.
Equal concern
taking as much care to promote the opportunities and progress of one child as you do for any other child.
Inclusion
a process of identifying, understanding and breaking down barriers to participation and belonging. (definition developed by the Early Childhood Forum

Discrimination

Prejudice
