Revised 'Statutory guidance for Children's Trusts' (DCSF-00943-2008) was published on 18 November 2008, which local authorities and their statutory partners must have regard to. This guidance updates and replaces existing guidance and signals potential future legislative changes, which schools and their governors should make themselves familiar with.A new leaflet 'What is a Children's Trust?' (DCSF-00945-2008) provides an easy and accessible summary of what Children's Trusts are, what they do, and how they are being strengthened. Both these publications are available to download from the Online Publications for Schools website.
