Hi Kirstie welcome to Silkysteps

I'd take it slowly, title by title.

Header a page that says Formative assessment & write all about it.
Header another page with Summative assesment & write all about it.

Then make comparrisons between the two - note down what makes them different and any implications that may have.

What use Profiling has and other types of assessment you use.

Once you have all that information you will probably be able to break it down even further and write more if needed. Putting all that together should give enough content for the final document.

The difference between formative and summative assessment, the use of profiling and different forms of assessment used in your setting

Hth .. let us know how you get on

Profiling is the building up of information on each child. The file you have with all their background information, observations, acheivements admission form, medical history etc.
