Hi, welcome to the site. Consider what you've learnt about children's developmental needs and how you (as a key-person?) observe and keep track of individual children in the setting so that you know their interests and stage of development.
Abraham Maslow's hierarchy needs - air, food, drink, shelter, warmth, sleep, rest and secure, positive relationships and then a child's learning needs - personally, socially, emotionally, physically and creative opportunities to explore, discover and communicate.
What examples can you think of from your setting daily activities and routines that match these ideas and ensure play is a way for children's needs to be met?
