Hi, Kolb's theory of reflection involves 4 stages. Gibbs concept is a reflective cycle and Donald Schon who was an American philosopher, author, and Professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, produced a series of books on learning, Reflective Practice, and significantly, the development of reflective practitioners. His seminal work 'The Reflective Practitioner' (1983) focused on professional Reflective Practice and the role of the reflective practitioner.

Pages 399+ of this handbook looks into David A. Kolb's and Graham Gibb's theories.

Hope this helps a little
