Hi a very warm welcome to the site.

Being a 'discuss' criteria do you know if this is something you'll do in conversation with your assessor?

To help prepare for that you can read about the areas of child development and your role in supporting and promoting them on the following pages of this EYE level 3 handbook.

You'll be considering aspects such as the observations and assessments you make and the planning that you do.

cognitive
/learning (page 287) - how you use sared thinking to sustain children's interst in an activity

SPC
(page 298) and language rich environments support this - interacting sharing books & rhymes, role play

physical activity (page 322 & 326) planning opportunities for physical play, being a good role model, supprt children sensitively

social & emotional (page 344 ) warmth of your interactions, how frequently you acknoeledgechildren, how you respond to children

Hope this helps a little, best wishes
