Default Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management

Hello, I did Levels 2 & 3 CYPW a couple of years ago, and used this site a lot! Really helpful and useful. Anyway I'm now thinking it's time to go a bit further. Having trouble finding a level 4, but found this Level 5 here:
http://www.thechildcarecompany.com/courses/
Course content seems to include a lot of childcare/development etc as well as the leadership stuff. Has anyone done this or similar, and do you think it would be worth the time and money invested? Others have advised to just go for the Early Years Foundation Degree, here: http://www.mnttraining.co.uk/trainin.../index.htm?b=p
but I'm not really sure I'm up for that - doubt my own intelligence a lot of the time, plus there's the time factor. Hope some of you lovely people can help me make my mind up

I did the level 5 and finished in December. My goal us a degree, but I dont know what to do next to get that. after looking on the open university I have noticed you can do a BA top up after doing a foundation degree so I'm kind of wishing I did a foundation degree and not a level 5. I hope this helps

Thanks for that, AnnieEmms. I hope you find what to do next. My decision is on hold for now. I have signed up for a Btec/NVQ Level 2 in Team Leadership so that will keep me busy for the next 12 - 15 months. I'm glad it came up - it's free for me as I don't have a degree, the government fund it. My manager and our other deputy are hoping it will be useful for them too!! Good luck, with whatever you decide x
