Default CYPW level 3 Optional unit 673 (Nutrition & Hydration) Help!!!

Hi, Can anyone help with the following questions????? Not quite sure what they are asking.

How do you feel in your role you are able to evaluate others to contribute to a balanced diet of a child?

Explain how hydration can be promoted for babies and young children and evaluate the effectiveness of different ways to promote this.

Any help appreciated....thanks.

Hi, its asking how capable you feel you are in seeing others ability to provide or contribute towards children's dietary needs. What is you role in the setting and how does that support you doing this? eg. if you cook, prepare, serve, order, shop for children's nutritional needs .. it could be that you work as part of a team, alongside colleagues that use the setting's planning processes to provide food & drink - maybe see what snacks & meals are provided at your setting and who supplies them, how do you know parents possible knowledge of dietary needs - breakfast, snack, lunches, evening meals.

How is the importance of water known in your setting? do you have any leaflets, signs, posters, know rights, understand the physical health implications of not drinking enough fluids?
