Crossfingers Interview help PRU

Hi Everyone

I have an interview coming up for a TA position in a PRU. I am really nervous this is my first interview and I dont know what to expect or wear!

Apparently it will last for 1.5 hours and I will have the chance to interact with the children.

Could someone give me some advice please? I feel totally sick lol

Thank you

I had a similar interview a while back, I wore black linen trousers and just a plain white t-shirt with a black cardigan as i was interacting with the children also and didn't want to wear clothes that were too formal incase it ended up with me running around with children! It was never mentioned to me that I would do one but I planned a small activity that I could do with the children if the opportunity arose. Unfortunately the opportunity didn't come up for me to do my activity but I did engage with the children about their likes, striking up a conversation about the film Cars! Do you know the age of the children you are interacting with? If so maybe ask nieces/nephews/family friends children of similar age (providing there are some!) what they like? You may be able to put it to good use!

Good luck & all the best
x
