evidence-based practice is practice which is influenced by objective evidence derived from research. it is a combination of practitioner expertise and knowledge of the best external research and evaluation based evidence and applying this to enhance the best possible outcomes for children. hope this helps, i'm on the same question and that is my answer.

do we do things because they benefit children or not! why do we do the things that do meet the outcomes (E~C~M) and why do we NOT do the things that don't!
