Hi, a few more suggestions..

PEAL & EPPE along with other work of Professor Kathy Sylva et al & Charles Desforges has been recommended for research.

The impact of parental involvement on children's education.

EPPE on education.gov.uk & 2004 surestart summary: from preschool to end of KS1 direct pdf link

Parents as partners
Enabling Parents study - PEEP provides an insight on this

I'd also look locally - your .gov.uk website for information relating to strategies, programmes and ideas they have for working with parents.

Every parent matters policy document

EPM - helping you help your child 2007

National Occupational Standards for LLUK - Work with Parents download available from parentinguk.org

Hope it helps xx
