076 nutrition for meal and snack

plan meals for young children that meet their nutritional needs based on current goverment guidance and information from carers.

would this come under snack as we have a chef that does meals and do i need to cover all the guidlines like how many portions of each food group a child needs really could do with some help as it has to bee in monday.

Hi Tina,
Yes you can cover it with a healthy snack, and then cover the rest in an activity looking at what involves a nutritional diet with the kids. I printed out pictures of different foods covering all the groups and with the children cut them out making a food plate. Hope this is of help.

hiya,
really stuck on the goverment guidance bit, i've put in how they have guided portions etc any ideas of what else?
