Miss Muffet is on a distinguished road
Biggrin Noisemakers - rain makers, shakers & rattles

Little uns love these (at least mine does!)

Rattles/Shakers - 3 types:

:goodvibes Fold a paper plate in half, staple halfway round, partly fill with beans etc and staple the other half closed. Cover staples with colourful tape and decorate with drawings/paint/stickers.

:goodvibes Need: Cheese triangles box, wooden spoon, string, modelling clay/beads, tape. Paint the empty cheese triangles box and decorate. Using one half only, tear a small hole in the side so that the spoon handle can stick out. Place the spoon head inside the box and firmly tape in place. Lay a length of string across the spoon and box so that 1 1/2 - 2 inches is visible outside the box. Put the other half on and tape firmly shut. Either wrap 2 blobs of modelling clay around the string ends and leave to dry or knot 2 beads on. Voila, a twisty-drum-thingy (technical name!)!

:goodvibes Need: Cheese triangles box, wooden spoon (optional), Tape, Beans. As above except no string and partly fill with beans or no spoon either and partly fill with beans.

Just what we all need - something else noisy!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
