Help SOS Hi and new and Unit 305 driving me nuts!

Hi! I started my NVQ3 in Feb this year and I've gotta have it complete by Dec!
There's no way that's gonna happen lol! I'm working 2 jobs, have 2 kids and due to being short staffed at work I've not seen my assessor for the past 3 mths
But....Ive got stuck on unit 305.

Ive answered the question as best i could but i still dont think its right!
What sort of information would you put in the information to:

K3P246:
The requirements of legislation, regulation and codes of practice for safeguarding and protecting children relevent to the home country where the setting or service is located. The duty of all within the sector to safeguard children, including:
a) whistle blowing where there are concerns about colleagues or in other difficult circumstances
b) where your concerns may not be seen to be taken seriously or followed through when following normal procedures

i dont get how it wants me to answer part (a).
am i supposed to write about my settings procedure for whistle blowing? its not very clear - also i had safeguarding training about 8 weeks ago as i work yet my minds gone blanks

any help would be great - works due in on tues

I am just finishing 305. i would definately write about your setting procedures as that shows that you know how it works.
Keep it brief and to the point.
Can you get an extension on your course especially if you have not seen your assessor for 3 months surely this would be possible.

Step back take deep breaths and look at it clearly and logically. Sometimes we read too much into the questions where really we can keep it short and to the point and at the end of the day they want to see that we have an understanding of what we are doing nothing more (well thats my view on it).

I have an NVQ2 in childcare and have worked with children for 10yrs! scary! and if it was up to me i wouldnt be doing this course lol but as my L2 is gonna be classed as nothing come 2015 i thought i better do it :P

Yes I underdstand what you are saying. If you feel that you want to expand on some of the areas then give examaples how you would use the proceudres within the setting so you can show that you understand what they are looking for.

You will do it, its just fitting it all in.
