Default Special Needs-organisations, professionals, community resources and local services

Special Needs- Think of as many organisations, professionals, community resources and local services with which your setting could have connections with. Produce a spider diagram to record your ideas and brief explanations of their role.

Please please please can some one help me to answer this, I have social services, portage workers, area SENCo, health visitors but what else!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Thank you so so much in advance!

Hiya, all sounds good

People you may meet is a generic resource that may help you identify what's available locally to you and your setting.

Drivers that provide transportation services to & from school are also people that children, parents, the setting may meet.

Other community resources & services are the library, local shops, business -eg: mobility & other resources, help groups and organisations such as charities that may be able to assist with support, information and possible sign posting for resources & areas of funding.

To follow leads maybe search online with sen and your county as keywords?

Hth xx
