Thank-you for the Caterpillar Counters - not in this week but looking foward to using it with the children next week when we go back.
I also think it will be a excellent addition to our 'parental partnership' box.....not only as a resource for parents/children to borrow and use together - but also to help reinforce bringing items in to use for activities, in this case bottle tops....then perhaps each child can make their own 'counting' caterpillar to keep!!

Thanks to everyone for the replies, it's really good to read how these sets are being used xx

There are a few more play suggestions that have now been added to the main activity page, helping to extend the resource - Caterpillar counters

Activity ideas ..
Add on with other coloured, hole punched lids - larger & smaller eg, tube tops, gravy tub lids.

Write numbers on one side and include in play .. these float & hold other items, scoop sand, can be worn on the head for walking wobble games..

Caterpillar activity cards, request slips and head images.

Lay coloured bottle tops together in lines, circles, groups to join, construct and create patterns:
1 red 3 green, 2 blue, 1 red ..

Purchase the Caterpillar counters download separately - or as part of the caterpillar storage bag

Many thanks as always for your support and enthusiasm xx
