I have a question Unit302 Schools as Organisations - Outcome 3 - 3.2

Hello,

Having a little memory block, but I'm trying to bat through Unit 302 before next week however I'm not sure how to word or start Outcome 3, 3.2.
I understand it is in association with my setting and that it is how we as a school and how it is influenced however I don't have a clue how to work that at all well.
could someone give me some insight on how they have worded theirs so I can get an idea of what is expected of me.

thank you.

Hi, welcome to the site.

Outcome 3 Understand school ethos, mission, aims and values
3.1 Explain how the ethos, mission, aims and values of a school may be reflected in working practices.
3.2 Evaluate methods of communicating a school’s ethos, mission, aims and value.

3.2 relies on the information you found out about in 3.1, were you able to collect a copy of your school's prospectus or other material where it explains the ethos, mission, aims & values?

Page 23 of the STL level 3 handbook - on amazon.co.uk looks further into this

The school's aims and values will need to be communicated as much as possible in school literature and on its website as well as in school. this is because these sources will be where parents and others gain their first impressions. You will need to make sure that you have considered how schools, and in particular your own, communicate their aims and values, and whether they do this successfully.

In that statement methods of communication are literature, website and in school.

Hope this helps xx
