If anyone has come across any new books that they think are relevant please let me know. I hope one day to be able to feel that I can help someone out there with my little knowledge of boys/men in a specialised care environment. Thanks lots. Ps I'm half way through Unit 2 at the moment

Hi, a warm welcome to the site, there isn't yet a book specifically for the level 3 children & yp's residential care course.

You'll be reliant on the materials your tutor & course provider have - can you ask which handbook they recommend? information from your local authority, knowledge & copies of your setting's policies and procedures and details about any organisations it has connections with including charities.

You're most welcome to post here as I'm sure members will help wherever they can.

Best wishes xx

Highfive Residential-childcare level 3

Learning is the development of knowledge or skills through study and experience.
]Learning potential is a measure of what a child is capable of doing and learning when a child has access to teaching, subject, health and other resources. It is what children could achieve when they are given the best opportunities to learn.
Education is the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university. Thus, all the activities are interlinked and there is not much difference between them
