Default 005 - understand principles & values of the sector

I am doing unit 005, principles and values underpinning work with children and the protection and promotion of children's rights.

It asks to identify and explain the three principles and nine values underpinning the national occupational standards in children's care learning and development and how they may be applied in the childcare sector.

Are they referred to the national standards of under 8s day care and childminding as there are 14 standards or am I going down the wrong path?

Hope someone can point me in the right direction?
