005 Task B barriers to participation

Can anyone help with the 4 main barriers of participation? I got as far as disability and then my brain went to sleep! I know there's other barriers but didn't know if there is a specific 4 you have to mention? arrgh!! Please help.

Hi TinTin,

Some of the barriers of participation are:

Cost (financial problems)
Lack of transport
Unfamiliar or new to the area
Lack of time
Special needs discrimination ie wheelchair access and facilities
Speech difficulties
Language difficulties
Young parents
Travelling families


To name but a few lol, you can overcome barriers by communicating as it is essential to improve links between providers and communities.
