Lightbulb Hot Weather

What ideas does everyone have for keeping the children cool in this hot weather?

I'm in school based childcare and today the children had sports day and came in really hot and bothered so we
Filled paddling pool and let them put their feet in,
Sprayed them with the hose pipe (put finger over the end to make a fine mist- in shade so no sun burn issues),
Put fruit slices in the freezer to make fruitie ice lollies.

Default

...and I want ideas for keeping me cool!

I had to teach in a hall today where over half of the windows were stuck closed, there was no air conditioning or fans and we had to keep the doors closed as they were fire doors!!

Sorry to hijack your post DizzyDora but I'm hot!!!:melodramatic:
