Default planning outdoor activity

Can anyone help please. I have said when planning and indoor activity I would read the various policies in my setting first. I now have to list various things I would look at I have said Risk Assessment, First Aid, Adult Helper, Location, Equipment but stuck on security. Security wise what would I have to ensure on a school trip. Should I write about the location and doors being shut and making sure I walk just ahead of children to see if there are easy ways to get out of an area. Any help or advise would be appreciated please. Thank you

usually on outdoor visits you have to do a pre-visit to do a risk assesment, check for any hazards, or any areas that would not be suitable for your age group of children. Then you can pre warn your adult helpers of where you were able to go. Transport - will you walk, do you need a coach (seatbelts etc) will all adults have a mobile, will you stay in one group or will you seperate. would you need to look at your settings missing child policy?
