Hi, promoting the UN convention right's links to knowing what they are this page of silkyteps can help

Promoting children's rights involves:
Recognising equality, celebrate diversity, challenge discrimination.
Provide for children's needs - warmth, appropriate clothing, food, water, light, air, time to be physically active, time for rest.
Listen to views and opinions without judgement.
Offer information where requested or where an unacceptable level of risk makes it necessary.
Be fair when situations arise.
Protect children from serious harm and know reporting procedures to safeguard health & well-being.
Support children's confidence when they encounter conflict, are learning to negotiate and use their resillience to try again.

Using the playwork principles as rights would involve promoting children's right to experience acceptable levels of risk, challenge and exploration through both restful & stimulating environments. Have opportunity to play without uneccessary adult interferene or intervention - adulteration, to freely choose and control own activity.

Pocket guide to playwork is a resource that promotes article 12 and 13 a children's right to freedom of expression & play.
