Hi, this relates to what happens in your setting or placement.

How do staff feel about the diversity that exists in the world, the setting and around it locally.
eg. If a mixed race vegan family with a different cultural backgrounds supporting humanitarian causes and owning a local commercial property enquired about a place for their child/ren how do you think you and colleagues would react to that - positively, negatively, with excitement, caution, feel unable to accomodate what such diversity might involve.

What training happens to help explore diversity - cultural workshops, activity ideas for the children and information for practitoners, awareness of disability, charity support ..

MAybe look at what the setting's welcome pack, staff induction pack, prospectus looks like.

Working in partnership with parents involves listening to views, opinions, preferences, recommendations, feedback, requests, explaining how a setting currently operates in specific situations and how that can adapt to meet what a parent would like for their child - diets, play opportunities, opening times, closing times, payment methods, anti-bias practice in relation to faith and beleifs ..

Children's needs as detailed in Abraham Maslow's heiracy of needs is a good lace to research, the UNCRC shows how rights are a need.

Hth xx
