Hi
I'm a little stuck with this knowledge question, bit fed up of getting work back and it's only 'towards' as my assessor writes on my work.
unit 307 k3d291
What is meant by challenging activities for babies and children and the links between challenging activities and development progress?

Any help appreciated
Thanks Sharon (metalmum)

Hi Jules
thanks for that, i work and support children in year 5 in a school and i don't know much about the baby part, i get bits from books but don't want to copy them and my mind is blank to think of any more though i'm sure it's easy.

Can anyone emphasis on this a little please as i am struggling a little and i understand for example that a shape sorter may be challenging for a young infant however a child of the age of 6/7 years old will find that easy therefor would need something more challenging like a large smaller pieced jigsaw... is this all they are looking for within the answer...? x

A challenging activity for a baby would be putting a toy a little out of reach for them, to see if they can get it, or for about a year old, it could be giving the baby a spoon to feed him/herself, that type of thing
