Explain how to give adult support for each transition,

Moving away
Bereavement

obviously communicating with the child is important but i'm a bit unsure

Hi if you have the level 2 handbook on amazon.co.uk pages 119 - 121 include a table of situations, reasons for a transition and specific ways adults can support children.

eg:
Moving away: your setting might expect you to support children's emotional well-being by encouraging them to express their feelings and make new friends. Work closely with parents, find out where they'll be going, provide time for children to talk about what's happening to them. Be able to listen to what they are saying, reassure them and be excited or look forward to any changes.

Bereavement is also examined on page 101
