1.4 Using two (2) barriers to professional relationships as examples, explain how each barrier can be overcome.
To look at strategies to overcome barriers that include making sure everyone knows their individual roles and responsibilities. That parents know which team member can deal with specific concerns and effective communication.
sharing information clearly in ways that everyone understands and making sure everyone is working towards the same aim in achieving the best positive outcome for the child.
When English is not the parent's first language:
As a teaching assistant in my placement, I help by translate for pupils who do not speak fluently English or for autistic children I use noticeboards can display signs in picture form, for example showing the activities to the child will be doing during the session.
Making messages clear:
I need to make sure that we understand each other messages from the pupils and adults not only from what is said but also from how it is said. Our tone of voice, gestures and facial experiences can change the meaning of a message. It is important to give careful consideration to the wording of any letter and we try to make sure that it cannot be misinterpreted.
The tutor still not happy feeling the confusion any more suggestion will be very helpful.
