Default Help again..! KC3160

How you adapt your behaviour and communication with children to meet the needs of children in your care of different ages, Gender, ethnicities, needs and abilities

Heelpp..

Im not sure how best to answer this question, shall i break it down for each bit, ie age, gender, ethnicities, and so on??

I have just started my NVQ and been told to complete 301 by next assesment, but not been told how really...

I work in a pre school, ages 2-5 so not really much experience with older age ranges either.

Default hi

hi jenjen, all i put and it must be ok as i have it signed off by my assessor is the all children need to feel valued have nurturing and be understood and we must adapt our manner to suit each child. babies and toddlers look for reassurane in the form of a cuddle whilst an older child loks for verbal reassurance.you also need to adapt your body language, verbal language and tone of voice when dealing with different ages and also the complexity of the sentences to suit the childs age.and listen to thema nd allow time for them to respond.
hope that has been of some help
Sxx
