page 240, yes and more :) you're looking at researching factors such as children's prior knowledge and understanding, the context in which new mathematical concept is taught - it needs to make sense to the child. The resources you have available, access to practical experiences rather than asking them to think and learn about maths in a purely abstract way. Children's understanding and use of mathematical language - vocabulary, supportive adults and the teaching methods used, the range/breadth of experiences children have open to them and the ability to work with peers.
