Default 302 - Manual handling

Im working o nthe first knowledge question on 302 whch is about manual handling

i have wrote about the correct way to lift a child and a table and what injuies you can get from lifting child etc the wrong way

is there anyting eles i could put?

Hi,

This information is from the NVQ 4 forum but contains the same sort of things to look out for .. Manual Handling

You can also look at what sort of entries can and are being made in the risk assessment book. What training everyone is able to access.

Knowing the correct way to pick a Child or object up and also having an awareness of how serious damaging yourself or the Child whilst lifting, or putting down is for everyone - legally, physically and emotionally.

Where illness and disability is involved and the aids/equipment needed to protect both the lifter & child.

Thanks for the infomation will really help

we had to attend a manaul handling cousre as part of my CCLD cosure and we all got a little bookelt about it but i seem to have lost it
