Theorists

Hi, im doing 303 and have been given some scenario's that i have to link to theorists. I've read all about the theories but can't quite match them confidently. If i write the scenario's and the answers i think are right, would someone please tell me if im on the right track?

1) A child watches another child playing in sand and then joins in - bandura?
2) Staff encourage older children to help younger children - Vygotsky?
3) A child is bitten by a dog, now she has to hold mums hand whenever she sees a dog - Piaget?
4) 3 children are doing a counting activity with small bricks. They are piling them and counting them as they take some away - NO IDEA HELP!!!!!

I forgot to mension that the choice of theorist are the ones above plus
Skinner
bruner
freud

Any help would be great. thanx.

Hi

I have just had a similar piece of work back from my tutor. I think that you can probably apply different theorists to each case - depending on your perception of their theories. Anyway, here are the answers I would give:

1: Vygotsky
2: Bruner
3: Pavlov
4: Piaget

Hope this helps
