Default Induction workbook

Hi I am just starting my level 3 diploma is it just me but the induction workbook is a lot to do before you actually start the actual units in the diploma. Does anyone know if this is compulsory to complete as part of the diploma I am having a difficult time just completing this,

My tutor has set the induction booklet to be complete in 3 weeks, I am about half way through it needs to be completed next week I have read some people have had 6months to complete, it's hard when there is a lot of things I have never come across. Wonder why we have to do it when it's not part of the diploma?

It's not conditional of delivering the coursework for the cache diploma xx

You can read about the induction standards here: http://www.education.gov.uk/children...tion-standards and here http://webarchive.nationalarchives.g...tion-standards

A warm welcome to the site :)
