Default Chernobyl

it is 20 years on 26th.April,2006n since thie terrible disaster..it is still a tragic situation in the country and children are being born with inherited birth derects as a long term result. They have a web site ar www.rememberchernobyl.org and www.chernobyl-children.org.uk.
For our part we are hosting a magic lantern show and having a big raffle.
im sure some of you would like to help the cause and send them a donation. even 20p. from each child in your group would be more than welcome and put to good use.If we all did this it would be great. So ladies on behalf of those in Chernobyl and the surround ing area,I appeal to you all. Thanks in anticipation. It could have happened as a result of the fall out at Sellafield here on our doorstep.Praises be that it didnt.lol

Chloe,Have just been on the sites now.Remember Chernobyl has an appeal for to download for signatures and also says how you can help.
Chernobyl Children also has a section which says how you can help.Youll need tissues when you go to these sites and see some of the photos. The one of the child with a huge hydro ceph head really upset me .
Please all of you just log on and see if you can ignore this.

our local church have a group over every two years, they get medical treatment, clothes, day trips, and intergrate with the local school. sadly this is upseting for some of the young children. they take a collection at every other service and the school often have days to help collect money. they even have own clothes days where they make up little bags of goodies tooth paste, brushes,etc... and i know of a group who take medical supplies out on a regular basis.
