Default Transitions

Hi I need to analyse the different effects transition has on this child. It a 500 word piece I have started but would like someone's views on how some one else would analyse it aswel.
Milly has worked in the nursery as a key worker and has known James since he started in the baby too. At 6 months old. Milly has noticed that James has been very quiet and withdrawn. Another member of staff tells her that James's mother has informed the nursery staff that James's father has just moved out of the family home. Milly is concerned as James is also due to move to the toddler room soon.
