Default Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Code of Practise 0-25 Years 2015.

Please, can someone help me...I need to summarise Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Code of Practise 0-25 Years 2015.
My mind has gone blank and I just can’t word it. Just need a few bullet points that I can then put into my own words. There’s not much to go on by on the internet and I’m really struggling with this.

Hi, from page 181 of this EYE handbook

The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Code of Practice 2014
applies to England only. The code tells local authorities, schools and others how they must carry out their duties under the new law. It includes changes to the way in which services are planned and provided, through the new EHC plan.

Children and Families Act 2014/SEND Code of Practice 2014
The Act introduces a new range of legislation regarding adoption and family justice. In part 3 it includes a new Special |educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Code of Practice. This supersedes the Code pf Practice from 2001 (but it does not replace the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Act 2001) Under this code of practice local authorities will draw up education, health and care (EHC) plans for children identified as SEND. They are also required to publish a local offer' of services and offer a personal budget to meet the EHC plan.

If you use the look inside feature on the amazon preview, search for the words EHC plan and click to page 310 where it explains what the plans involve.
