SOS Inclusive practice for children with additional needs from birth - 7 years

Hi,

I came across this thread whilst looking for some help and hope that you might be able to point me in the right direction.

The question I need to answer is 'Evaluate the inclusive practice of children you work with' who have additional needs. I need to give examples from my practice (working with children aged 2-4) and for age groups of children that I don't work with up to 7 years old.

What's confusing me is having to separate my answers according to age bracket and then by additional need...surely that's too complicated? For example, if a child has a physical impairment, wouldn't the setting have to make the same adjustments to ensure that the physical environment is accessible no matter what age the child is?

I have the Level 3 Early Years Educator textbook for the work based learner but it's not proving very helpful...

Thanks in advance,
Kayleigh
