Hi it's asking about the different ways you help children understand other people's culture, how we're all a little different and why it's important to value each person as an individual.

The CYP 3.5 unit from OCR.org lists how to build and maintain positive relationships
  • communicating effectively
  • identifying and sorting out conflicts and disagreements
  • being consistent and fair
  • showing respect and courtesy
  • valuing and respecting individuality
  • keeping promises and honouring commitments
  • monitoring impact of own behaviour on others
  • keeping confidentiality as appropriate
  • recognising and responding appropriately to the power base underpinning relationships
These are explored further on page 153+ of this level 3 handbook on amazon.co.uk search for 'consistent and fair'

Strategies could include the activities your setting plans, the times for discussion or focused support, resources that celebrate diversity - skin colours, dress, language, food, countries, animals, family traditions and events.

Hth xx
