SOS unit 303 impact serious case reviews have on stakeholders

hi, im really hoping some can help me?

i have the question:
*explain the impact serious case reviews have on all stakeholders involved in safeguarding children. this should include agencies and individuals involved.

could someone re-phase the question maybe or give me a little guidance. im completely stuck with this one.

Hi, considering the importance of serious case reviews in that a child/ren has died or been badly injured because of abuse or avoidable accidents this criteria is asking you to look at what that means for individual people (what did/didn't they do) and the way that agencies work (did they fail to protect the child or did they do everything they reasonably could). The outcome of a SCR will include recommendations that improve professional practice, cause agencies (including preschools/nurseries) to update their policies and procedures so that they can guard against the situation from happening again.

Which handbook are you using?
