Default EYE level 3 Understand how to monitor a child's progress. ..

Hi, I am new to this course doing my first assignment. I am struggling with 3.3 Explain how different types of support available can promote positive outcomes for children where development is not at the expected rate.
I think this means discussing health visitors, social workers, speech therapists etc.- basically the types of people who can help a child with a developmental delay. My assessor, however, has given me a link to a very long document assessing different types of early childhood intervention programmes around the world, which has some helpful info but doesn't seem to be the full story to me. Can anyone tell me if I am barking up the wrong tree please?

Hi and welcome to the site. You seem to be barking up the right tree :)

The link sounds interesting, does the document mention TAC Team Around the Child or any other programme in the UK that brings together professionals in support of children's positive outcomes?

Page 146 of the work based learner lists professionals who support children and their families and once involved with a child can ensure positive outcomes through the services they offer and page 90 at TAC

Best wishes
