id wait for each module and you're reading list as every uni/college does it slightly different but to prepare yourself real world research by hobson and the study skills handbook by cottrell are good if you have only done nvqs and not academic study. your theories will be your backbone so brush up on them they'll be no time when you're studying and expand them to bronfenbrenner and the reflective theories such as gibbs kolb etc. if you don't get reading list pre course shout about it!

haven't you got a tutor? You shoo shave a complete reading list and it shoo deb broken down by module. If you're doing it distance learning though they will do the cheapest way possible and often the assessor isn't even a qualified teacher. shout shout!

My assessor comes to my work place about once a month to go over next unit or to do observations, doing it through a local college
