hi

am stuck on 'explain how theories of development and frameworks to support development influence current practice'. i have explained how the theories influence my day to day running of the nursery however my tutor has asked me to explain how frameworks such as early years foundation phase is linked into this.

Any ideas??

thanks

I would add in about the lord laming report, victoria climbe - how it changed and agencies need to work together, baby p etc.

Hope this helps a little.

im on a similar question though worded slightly differently. its how and why you use the eyfs in the day to day learning of the children in your care, which theorists influence what we do in practice today. child centred learning for example is piaget, mcmillan = outdoor play Froebel, nursery school etc. Forest schools . Montessori =observation and child sized furniture .
hope this helps
