Help SOS Strategies for Children to protect themselves

Help - I'm stuck on the following questions, i cant seem to get my head round it, i'm in need of some guidance:

What skills and strategies can children and young people use to protect themselves?
Why is it important to ensure that children have strategies to protect themselves and make decisions about safety?
How can you empower children to make positive and informed choices that support their well being and safety.

This is the first time I have used this so any help would be appreciated

Helen x
